Italian Snack

As always,,,When  Sue and I get together,,,There is bound to be lots of cooking and reminiscing. This weekend we had a great time cooking out with friends at my Son, Brandons house. For this cookout,,,we decided to make Italian Snack
This is a recipe that Mom would make for us when we were young and continues to be a family favorite....This is good hot or cold and great for any time of year. Hope you enjoy.

1 Loaf Frozen Bread
4 Egg Yolks
1/4 Cup Oil
1/2 Cup Romano Cheese
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
2 tsps. Oregano
1 Lb. Deli Pepperoni (cut at # 1-1/2)
3 to 4 Cups Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)

Whisk Egg Yolks
Add Oil, Romano Cheese, Garlic powder and Oregano to egg yolks....mix well.
If to thick, add a little more oil.  Mixture should be spreadable.

Let Bread thaw using one of the directions on the package: The best way for me is to put it in the fridge overnight.
Roll the bread dough like you would be making a pizza. You are going to have to put some muscle into it and first, but don't give up...it will start to lay flat and get bigger.

Spread Egg yolk mixture on dough...

Cover with Pepperoni...

and Mozzarella Cheese....

Roll...Tuck in the edges as best as you can to keep all the goodies from spilling out.

Put on greased cookie sheet.
Bake 350* / 20-30 minutes
